Primary Job Function:  Under general supervision, is responsible for maintaining all Food Service Equipment in the schools and all machinery in the commissary and all District purchased ice machines and refrigeration equipment.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education and Certification: 

• High School Graduate or G.E.D.
• Must have City of Toledo Refrigeration License and Federal permit to handle Refrigerant.
• Must type 50 words per minute

Specific Job-Related Experience: 

• Minimum two (2) years of documented experience in commercial refrigeration systems with experience in Freon recharging.
• Previous electrical systems, mechanical systems and kitchen equipment trouble shooting and repair experience.
• Must be able to work with new equipment (new kitchen) and the upgrading of the old.

• Must be keyboard and software proficient and willing to learn those software programs that are specific to the desk.
