Primary Job Function:
Protects safety and property of Toledo Public School stakeholders by investigating criminal activity involving students, staff and the embedded school community providing security services as required. Keeps administration and staff informed about operations, interests, and concerns of the community. Acts as a liaison and resource between law enforcement agencies and school administration. Collaborates with on-site Toledo Public School (TPS) public safety representatives to obtain accurate security information as early as possible. Operates in a professional and discrete manner at all times adhering to Board Policy and Local, State and Federal laws and ordinances.
Job Duties:
- Provide security at school events.
- Maintain the safety and security of all students, staff, and vistiors to Toledo Public School events.
- Works at the direction of the on site Toledo Public School Resource Officer.
- Performs other related duties pertaining to position.

Specific Job-Related Experience:
Must be employed as an officer/sheriff’s deputy for a local Police Department and therefore must meet the minimum qualifications per their employer.
