**OHIO LAW STATES THAT IF YOU'VE HAD A DUI IN THE LAST 10 YEARS YOU CAN NOT BE A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER**

**MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE HAD YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS**

Bus Driver

Driver in Training - $10.45/hr (usually 4-6 weeks)

Probationary Rate, after obtaining CDL with endorsements - $19.59 (90 working days)

Completion of probation - starts at $21.20

The district will train applicants to obtain a Class B CDL with School Bus Passenger endorsement AND applicants are paid during training

Qualifications:

• Must possess valid driver license
• Ability to interact effectively with children and adults in the performance of the job duties
• Display good physical and mental health to meet job requirements
• Must have knowledge of Board of Education Pupil Transportation Policies
• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Be able to operate two-way radio
