This is a part time position and it does not have benefits.

 

Qualifications:

* Must have six months of documented full time security or law enforcement experience
with sole function or primary duties include security services. Scope of duties must
include direct public interaction and responsibility.
    - Or a minimum of six (6) months experience working directly with youth as the
        primary job function

* Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
* Must possess valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
* Must have documented satisfactory evaluation and an excellent attendance history.
* Must successfully complete Campus Protection Officer Physical Fitness assessment and
maintain standards requirements.
*Must successfully complete Campus Protection Officer aptitude testing.

 

 

Primary Job Function:
The function of the Campus Protection Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for
students, staff and property. The principal is responsible for the direction of the Campus Protection Officer. The Campus Protection Officer is an extension of the TPS district security department and may be reassigned in the event the need arises for additional safety and security at other sites.
